William A Rider & Caroline D. Slade Family
This is the only picture we have of Caroline
William and Caroline lived in Cedar Lake, Herkimer County, New York. They were married in 1860 and settled into farm life. They had 5 children before Caroline's sudden death in late 1870. William remarried (Helen T. Adams) and moved to a farm in Nodaway, Iowa where he spent the remainder of his life.
