William A. Shepherd Family Newspaper Articles
This page is devoted to newspaper articles mentioning oemone in the William Shepherd family. These are from local papers when the Shepherds lived in Wabaunsee County, Kansas and later in Butler County, Kansas. Local papers often had columns of news regarding citizens and as often the only official "record" of a birth or death. These were mainly copied from the Kansas State Archives in Topeka, Kansas which has most of the early Kansas newspapers on microfilm. Some are not as sharp as they are a digital camera picture of the microfilm display.
